Purchasing through Warehouse Aquatics

Once your order is completed, you will be shown a screen confirming your purchase details and a unique order number, which must be quoted in all correspondence to us. A confirmation email will also be sent to you stating if your order has been received.

In the event that items are not available within the time period provided, you will have the opportunity to either; cancel your order, amend your order or carry on waiting. If you choose to split the order we will treat the order as two separate orders and may charge carriage on both orders if applicable.

Delivery

We can normally dispatch your items within one to three working days upon placement of your order and confirmation of payment received, subject to stock availability. Actual delivery times after dispatch will depend on courier used, and your delivery address. See our delivery page for more information. Dates quoted by us for dispatch and delivery are estimates only unless otherwise stated.

Warehouse Aquatics cannot accept any liability for any delays in delivery once the goods have left our premises, due to circumstances beyond our control. All delivery dates quoted by us are estimates. However, if the purchase includes an additional charge from standard delivery for next working day delivery and this does not happen, then this additional charge difference will be refunded when proof of non-delivery within the agreed time is provided.

Back-orders

At times some products may be out of stock, but our supplier(s) may still show available stock. In these cases such products may show as available to order with a supplier lead time. This is also known as a "back-ordered" product, or a product with a "lead time". This will be displayed on the product information page with an estimated lead time, as well as on the checkout page for any products affected.

If your order contains one or more back-order products the affected products will be identified on the checkout page. Any delivery and dispatch estimates provided will reflect the calculated lead time. Additionally a lead time terms confirmation box will be displayed on the checkout. You will be required to accept the displayed lead time terms in order to complete a purchase for an order containing products with a lead time.

By placing an order containing products with a lead time you acknowledge that the whole order will not be shipped until all items have arrived in our main warehouse. The estimated dispatch date displayed is subject to supplier availability. We cannot split and partially dispatch a back-order unless carriage is paid for the additional shipment. However, at our discretion we may split and partially dispatch a back-order at no additional cost to you in circumstances where the estimated dispatch date is missed due to incorrect supplier availability.

Refusal of Delivery

You have the right to refuse a delivery in the event of item(s) being received damaged or of the incorrect product(s). In this event you will be offered a replacement or a full refund for the good(s) affected.

If you refuse a delivery due to a change of mind or no longer wanting the ordered items, you will be liable for the costs incurred by us for return transit. These costs will be deducted from any applicable refund. A refund will not be issued until the goods are received back and checked by us.

This may take the form either of an additional charge in the case of a re-delivery attempt, or a deduction from any applicable refund in the event of cancellation.

Change Of Delivery Address

All charges are based on the size and weight of the products and the address for delivery. If you would like to find out the charges which would apply to particular goods to a specific destination, then please contact us. To some destinations, our courier will calculate the weight of the parcel depending on its bulk rather than the actual weight (Volumetric), this may result in an additional charge for delivery.

We will contact you by phone or email to notify you of any additional charges prior to processing your order, Warehouse Aquatics will allow customers to decide whether to pay the additional charge or to cancel the order.

Your statutory rights are not affected by our returns policy.

Returns Policy - Faulty & Damaged on arrival items

  • Customers must contact our Customer Service Department as soon as possible if an item is received in a damaged or faulty condition. If faulty or damaged goods are received, you must notify us within 14 days of receipt of the item(s). Please take photographs of the damage and the packaging the item(s) were received in as we require this for courier claims and proof of damage. • Glass aquariums must be installed on a purpose built aquarium cabinet or stand, or other suitable flat surface with a surface at least same or larger than the footprint of the aquarium. If your aquarium is found to have been installed on an unsuitable stand or cabinet, installed on an undersized surface or lifted from it's stand whilst filled with water, then this will void your warranty. See heading "Glass Aquarium Products" for further details.

Your statutory rights are not affected by our returns policy.

Glass Aquarium Products

Glass aquariums must be installed on a purpose built aquarium cabinet or stand, or other suitable flat and even surface without bumps and with a surface footprint at least same or larger than the footprint of the aquarium. Any screws in the surface that sit underneath the aquarium must not protrude above the surface of the stand / chosen surface. If your aquarium is found to have been installed on an unsuitable stand or cabinet, or installed on an undersized surface this will void your warranty.

Glass aquariums cannot be moved whilst filled. If your aquarium is found to have been moved whilst filled this will void your warranty.

Many aquarium manufacturers do not cover glass breakages under their manufacturer's warranty. It is therefore essential that the surface on which your aquarium will reside is fully suitable, manufacturer approved, and set up correctly to minimise risk of breakage. Full installation advice and terms are available on our Aquarium Installation Information Page (opens in new window). Please ensure this is read and understood before installing your aquarium.
