Conditions of Sale

By placing an order through the ‘Warehouse – Aquatics' website site, you agree to the following terms and conditions of trade. These Terms & Conditions do not affect your Statutory Rights.

These terms constitute a legal document ('the Agreement') which sets out the rights and obligations of you as a purchaser ('you'), and those of ‘Warehouse Aquatics’ ('we' or 'us'), in relation to the products offered by us through this site. This contract in no way affects your statutory rights.

Contract Details

A copy of your order will be shown on your web browser before you submit it to the ‘Warehouse Aquatics’ website ('pre-contract notice'). The Pre-contract notice contains important information such as a description of the products you are purchasing, the price (including VAT) and any delivery charges of the goods ordered.

By completing and submitting an electronic order to us you are making an offer to purchase goods which, if accepted by us, will result in a binding contract.

The contract is only made when an offer to purchase has been accepted by is and payment has been authorised to ‘Warehouse Aquatics’. Authorised payment is defined as the authorisation by our Merchant Company of payment by Credit Card, Debit Card, Paypal or Google of notified cleared funds in our bank account. Your payment will be refunded if your offer to purchase is refused by us.

Dates quoted by us for despatch and delivery are estimates only.

Accuracy of Information

Warehouse Aquatics makes every effort to ensure that all information and data on this site is up to date and correct. However, this information cannot be guaranteed as details are regularly changed by manufacturers and errors made when inputting information.

Warehouse Aquatics cannot be deemed liable to any customer for any consequential or incidental damages whatsoever that result from or are related to the use of our web site and any information contained therein. 

Pricing of Goods

All prices shown are inclusive of VAT at the Standard Rate (20%).

Purchasing through Warehouse Aquatics

Select the items you wish to purchase, ensuring that you have chosen the correct details for your item. Enter your details at the checkout process and provide payment details. We accept most Credit and Debit Cards as well as Google and Paypal payments.

Once your order is completed, you will be shown a screen confirming your purchase details and a unique order number, which must be quoted in all correspondence to us. A confirmation email will also be sent to you stating if your order has been received.

In the event that items are not available within the time period provided, you will have the opportunity to either; cancel your order, amend your order or carry on waiting. If you choose to split the order we will treat the order as two separate orders and charge carriage on both orders if applicable.


We can normally dispatch your items within one to three working days upon placement of your order and confirmation of payment received, subject to stock availability. Actual delivery times after dispatch will depend on courier used, and your delivery address. Mainland UK deliveries usually take 1 working day. Other destinations will take longer and you will be advised of this depending on the destination.

Warehouse Aquatics refuses to accept any liability for any delays in delivery once the goods have left our premises, due to circumstances beyond our control. All delivery dates quoted by us are estimates. However, if the purchase includes an additional charge for next working day delivery and this does not happen, then this additional charge will be refunded when proof of non-delivery within the agreed time is provided.

Our couriers advise of an estimated time of delivery on the date of delivery, if you do not receive this after receiving a dispatch confirmation please contact us.

All Royal Mail deliveries are delivered usually within 2-3 days of dispatch and are not trackable.

Free Delivery

We offer Free delivery to mainland UK for all orders over £49, this delivery method is normally through a Royal Mail and all items will be sent as soon as the full order is in stock.

Glass Aquariums sent via pallet delivery are excluded from this offer and will orders containing any aquarium over 45 litres will incur a small delivery charge.  This is a kerbside delivery, drivers are not insured to deliver into the house.


We reserve the right to remove this offer at any time.


Mainland UK excludes, Islands and Highlands - this service is available at an additional cost and is not free of charge.


Customers can pay an extra £1.99 for next day before 12pm delivery when items are showing as in stock and available for shipping.


Large & Fragile Glass Aquariums are excluded from this offer as they must be sent via an insured pallet service. Any orders containing glass aquariums will be calculated at the checkout based on your delivery postcode. Pallet deliveries take 1-2 working days and cannot be tracked. 

Delivery Address

Most deliveries are carried out during working hours and on working days. Please ensure that someone is available to sign for and receive the goods. Warehouse Aquatics will send your order to any address that you select to suit your needs.

Warehouse Aquatics cannot accept liability for light tubes and glass objects when dispatched to Europe, anyone ordering these items to Europe must be aware that although we pack the items as carefully as possible we cannot guarantee safe arrival.

Glass and light tubes delivered to the UK can be replaced free of charge by Warehouse Aquatics in the event that they arrive damaged.

Change Of Delivery Address

If you need to change your delivery address please contact us as soon as possible stating your order number. If your order has not yet been dispatched your item may be sent to this new address at no extra charge.

In the unlikely event that an order is undeliverable due to the address not being found or the order not being received, the order will be returned to us. If this happens we may be able to offer a free re-delivery depending on the courier used. However, we reserve the right to deduct the original delivery charge from any refund to you, or to charge additional delivery if we have to resend the same items to a new address.

Incorrect Delivery Address

To ensure we successfully deliver the items to the address our customers supply, please ensure you supply Warehouse Aquatics with a full and correct delivery address.

If the address you supply results in a non-delivery due the address being incorrect you, the customer, will be liable for any extra delivery charges incurred. If the item is lost as a result of wrong delivery details the customer will be responsible for this loss.

If however, an error occurs on our system resulting in the wrong delivery or order details, we will do everything in our power to rectify the situation at no extra cost to the customer.

All courier deliveries will arrive next working day - Unless you are in a Highlands/ Islands or European Location. If for any reason your parcel does not arrive please contact us as soon as possible.

Any items returned to us after several attempted deliveries will be refunded and put back into stock unless we are contacted. Attempted delivery charges will not be refunded.

Any order discrepancies must be reported within 24 hours of delivery.

Other Charges

We reserve the right to alter delivery charges after order completion in the event of an incorrect country or area selection.

All charges are based on the size and weight of the products and the address for delivery. If you would like to find out the charges which would apply to particular goods to a specific destination, then please contact us. To some destinations, our courier will calculate the weight of the parcel depending on its bulk rather than the actual weight (Volumetric), this may result in an additional charge for delivery.

We will contact you by phone or email to notify you of any additional charges prior to processing your order, Warehouse Aquatics will allow customers to decide whether to pay the additional charge or to cancel the order.


Orders Not Requiring A Signature

Should you wish your order to be delivered by our couriers and left without any signature, please notify us in writing before your item is sent. Any items left at a supplied address without a signature will be entirely at the customers own risk. Warehouse Aquatics will not be held responsible for any damaged, lost or stolen items as a result.

Returns Policy

By law customers have the right to cancel any item for any reason within 7 working days after the day you received the items. Customers must return the goods to us at their own costs in an unused and re-saleable condition. We can also offer to collect the items, there will be a £7.50 charge for this. This will then be deducted from the final refund. If you wish to return an item please contact us first to receive a confirmation email which must be supplied with the item when it is returned. Any items returned without a confirmation email or any identification will be placed back in stock.

Until the package is received by us at our premises the customer is responsible for any loss or damage. Please ask for proof of posting when returning items to us, this is required to protect your loss in the event that the items are not received by us at our premises. Once we have received the items, we will notify you and refund the purchase price excluding the original carriage charge within 30 days of purchase.


Any items received in a used or non saleable state will not be refunded.

Missing, Incorrect or Damaged Items

Please ensure that your item is checked over and is not damaged before signing for it. Even if the packaging seems undamaged, any knocks to aquariums or filters can damage them without marking the packaging. We regret we are unable to replace damaged items if they are signed for as received in good condition, all damaged items must be signed for as 'unchecked'. If you not able to inspect the delivery whilst the courier is present please sign for it as 'unchecked'. All our couriers are responsible for a particular item until it is signed for. If you find that your item is damaged please refuse it from the courier. This will ensure the item comes straight back to us for replacement and a new scheduled pick up isn't required taking extra time.

Any items arriving damaged must be photographed and an image sent to us at [email protected] within 7 working days of receipt to determine the extent of damage and best course of action. Depending on the amount of damage - parts may be replaced or the whole product collected and replaced. 

Please inform us as soon as possible either by email or phone if an item is missing or is incorrect - within 7 working days. We always aim to resolve the issue as soon as possible, subject to an item being available in stock. The incorrect item must be returned at the customers expense but will be reimbursed upon receipt up to the value of 1st Class Recorded post.. All returns must be made by the cheapest method available - usually 1st Class post, and proof of posting must always be obtained.

We will examine the goods, and in the event that they are damaged or faulty we will issue a full refund or offer a replacement.

If a customer chooses not to have a replacement item from us, we can only refund your order to the amount originally paid - i.e. A full refund including original delivery costs and additional costs incurred cannot be refunded over the amount originally paid.
If a returned item is found to be not damaged or faulty then the goods will be returned to you at the customers cost or held for collection.

Any faulty items reported after 28 days of receipt can be replaced under guarantee but return postage costs will not be refunded.


Changing Your Order

If you need to change your order for any reason please call us as soon as possible so we can make amendments before dispatch. Please do not email us with changes as we cannot guarantee we will receive all emails in time

Bubble Rewards Scheme

Points can be earned from every successful Purchase or Review. These are awarded to your account once you have received the item(s) and the order has been paid in full and invoiced.

Accrued points can be spent on any products on our site but are not redeemable against postage charges. One Bubble point is worth the equivalent of £0.03. Points do not have an actual worth and cannot be exchanged for monies.

Points are held on your account indefinitely and can be accumulated and then used against a specific purchase. If you close your account your points will be lost.

In the event that an item is returned and refunded the points will be removed from the account. If the points earned on this purchase have already been spent on another product then these points will be deducted from your refund.

In some instances we may offer additional points when purchasing specific products, these point will be added to your account once a successful purchase has been completed.

Points cannot be transferred to accounts or exchanged for any services or products that are not available on the warehouse-aquatics website.

Points are not available for walk-in shop customers but can be accrued by purchasing online and then collecting your products in store.

Instant Price Match Scheme
Our online price match makes it possible for shoppers to enter a UK competitors price for an identical product and purchase at that price. However the information provided about the competitors price must be accurate and the product being compared identical. Acceptance of an order may be delayed for review and investigation or cancelled if any of the following apply:
1) The URL entered for the competitors product page is not valid, is not in stock or available for delivery or does not relate to an identical product.
2) The price entered does not match the price displayed on the product page the customer provided the URL of or the price excludes VAT
3) If we believe the competitor we are being compared to is not a viable and practical alternative to ourselves I.E. Ebay or Amazon, a website that is clearly no longer actively trading, a website that does not make purchase possible at the price advertised or a website/company not based in the UK.

Please note returns will NOT be accepted unless previously authorised via email. For all returns please follow the returns procedure shown above.

We will acknowledge your complaint as soon as possible, and will try to resolve the issue as quickly as we can.


We run competitions on our social media channels periodically. The below terms and conditions set out your rights when you participate:

- All prizes are as stated, non-transferable and have no cash value.

- If you send us your photos for any reason (not just competitions), you agree that we may use these in our marketing materials. Where appropriate and at our discretion, we will give credit to the photographer.

- Winners have 30 days to claim their prize from when we first attempt contact. We will do our utmost to contact the winners using the details provided.

- While we do not anticipate needing to, we reserve the right to alter the prize at any time.
