The API CO₂ booster adds essential liquid carbon to planted aquariums, helping you maintain a vibrant, healthy fish tank. 

Aquatic plants need carbon for the photosynthetic process and turn light energy and nutrients into new plant growth. Carbon deficiency is one of the biggest causes of poor plant growth in aquariums. Dose the CO₂ booster once a day to add essential carbon that your plants can absorb from the water. The CO₂ booster slowly releases CO₂ to the plants.

You can use this product alone or with CO₂ systems. The booster is safe for freshwater fish and will not alter pH.
